PREAMBLE
Since its creation in 2003, the Choose Life Generation organization has been strongly committed to the development strategy undertaken by the Government of Cameroon, particularly in terms of health, education and the protection of the rights of socially vulnerable people such as: orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC), adolescents, youth and women in rural areas. It has made numerous efforts to create an environment conducive to the development of these very vulnerable segments of the population through the implementation of programs and projects aimed at promoting health, education and protecting their social rights.
Despite the efforts made by Choose Life Generation with the constant support of the State, development partners, in addition to other actors from civil society, families and communities, which have had positive effects on the improvement of the living conditions of the beneficiaries, the progress made, remains and remains very insufficient; this is due in particular to the disparate nature of the interventions, as well as the absence of a concerted and harmonized vision, of an integrated approach aimed at the holistic development of the target groups.
In view of the sustainability of the achievements as an association, which have had positive effects on the improvement of the living conditions of the beneficiaries, that on the occasion of the actions of evaluation of the various action plans achieved so far, it was proposed to proceed from the mutation of Choose Life Generation into an organization recognized as being of public utility, precisely into a Non-Governmental Organization to promote access to resources and broaden the fields of action and consequently the modification of its basic organic texts, in particular the statutes and internal regulations.
